Banana and yogurt hair mask
This mask acts as a deep conditioner and also good for repairing damaged hair.
Mix a medium ripe banana with half a cup of yogurt and 3 teaspoons of honey until you get smooth consistency and add a little lemon juice. Leave it sit for about 15 minutes and then rinse well.
Mayonnaise and avocado mask
Combine one small avocado with 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, one vitamin E capsule and a few drops of coconut oil or almond oil. Use almond oil if you have problems with frizzy hair or coconut oil to speed up the process of natural hair growth. Avoid hair roots if you have oily hair.
Protein rich hair mask
Mix one egg with 5 tablespoons of grated cucumber half a cup of green gram flour and 5 tablespoons of orange juice. Apply this mask on your clean hair and leave it for about 25 minutes. Shampoo your hair the next day and apply this nourishing mask once a week for best results.
Hair mask for oily hair
You'll need to mix 1/2 teaspoon of lavender oil , 1/2 teaspoon of sweet orange oil , 1/4 cup of apple cider and the lemon juice from one lemon. Apply this mixture to your hair and leave it about 15 to 20 minutes. Apple cider will help remove product build up.
Use this mask twice a week and use conditioner on your ends only. Also, adding 1/2 teaspoon of aloe Vera gel and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to your shampoo will add an extra healthy glow to your hair. A teaspoon of baking soda added to your shampoo can also help fight dandruff.
